11 Months

At 11 Months Isla:

-Goes to bed around 8:00 and sleeps until around 7/7:30.  Drinks a bottle and goes back to sleep for an hour or two.

-Takes two naps

-Constantly says "oooh" and "wow", also says "daa da" and knows who she is talking about.

-Has learned how to sit up on her own and we finally lowered her crib mattress.

-Can get just about anywhere with the funniest combination of rolling and army crawling.

-Got the tips of her top two teeth.
-Loves standing up and holding onto the couch and ottoman.  She can't pull herself up yet, but she is so happy when we stand her up.  She'll cruise around along the furniture and get so happy when she "jumps" from couch to ottoman.

-Is pretty picky.  A lot of foods she spits out once she has taken a bite, even sweet foods I would expect her to like, like peaches and pears.  Sometimes she won't eat baby food anymore and she doesn't like mum mums or puffs.  I keep trying with the same foods but sometimes I am at a loss on what to feed her. Her favorite foods are eggs, avocados, and zucchini.

-Smiles at pretty much everyone and continues to be the happiest baby.

-Reaches out for people to hold her, even strangers.  On Sunday we were at a strange ward and she reached out for the old women in front of her to take her.

-Loves when Marcus gets home from work, but if he doesn't come pick her up and give her attention immediately she gets sooo mad at him.  

-Loves swimming and bath time.
-Loves her brother so very much.  I love watching their relationship because they truly love each other.  He takes really good care of her and she knows it.  She smiles and laughs when he plays with her and loves being around him and doing what he is doing.

I love this squishy smile so much.  She was not liking having her pictures taken, so Asher put on his sunglasses and started to do a little 'show'.  He dances and sang crazy and she laughed and laughed.  I love when she smiles so big it takes over her whole face.
