While in St. George, we headed out to get a blu-ray. The guys had just hooked up a new TV and blu-ray player and wanted to be able to watch something and get all kinds of excited about how clear the picture was. We weren't sure where a video rental store was, so with the help of the iphone, we found the closest one. Rent A Video. The majority of the videos in there were on VHS, and they only had 2 blu-ray discs in the entire store. The sweet lady and her daughter felt bad and so did we when we left empty handed.
We got a blu-ray at Hollywood Video. They are going out of business. But Rent A Video is still going strong.

Sunny St. George
We were lucky enough to head down to St. George for the weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather down there. We left Thursday after work and were able to relax, hang out at the pool, do a little shopping, long boarding, rollerblading and just enjoy some quality family time with the Webbs.
Just like every trip to St. George, we hiked the short and scary hike, or the crack in the wall. Remember last year Marcus couldn't fit through, no matter how hard he tried? Well he is proud to announce that he made it through this year. He had to do quite a bit of shimmying up the wall to get through, but he did it.
Saturday night at about 10:00 we were hanging out at the condo and getting a little sleepy from all of the fun in the sun that day when Marie said that she really wanted to go to Pah Tempe, some natural hot springs in Hurricane. We weren't sure because it was late and we were tired--but we all finally decided to go. You reserve the whole place at a time, so we were up there in the dark, with only a sliver of a moon, all by ourselves. It was pretty cool.
There were lots of different pools that you could go in, each a little different temperature. Some went all the way into caves which were super creepy in the dark. There was also a River below that you could play in but the water was way too freezing for me! I only lasted out there for a few seconds and that was with the warm pool water falling down onto me from above.
Yay for St. George and for quick, sunny getaway weekends.

Finally
Those of you who know me well know that I start about a million projects but take FOREVER to actually get them finished. I really have the best intentions, but I tend to get distracted. I drive Marcus a little insane, because while I take so long to finish a project, he is more of a finish-the-same-day you start kind of project guy. I buy things, take them back, buy them again, and just rethink everything over and over again. This is what is happening with the drapes in my living right now...
Anyway, you all remember the bird cage I asked for suggestions on so long ago, right? I finally did it. With Marcus's help I found the most perfect paint color, Bahama Sea (doesn't it just sound perfect?) and I love the way it turned out! Here it is.

What a trick
I'd say the weather is pretty perfect for April Fools' Day. The snow is quite the trick. While it is cold and pretty crazy I think it is beautiful today.
