Marcus and I were able to play ultimate frisbee in the Utah Summer Games this last Friday and Saturday. We went down with a bunch of people from BYU and played with them. We ended up having so much fun! We stayed at Marcus's parent's condo in St. George with Tommy + Rilee, Sam + Marie-Reine, and Brian + Shar and their two cute kids.
It was so hot down there and we were exhausted after playing 8 frisbee games in 2 days. There were some really good teams (and the girls who played were awesome!) so we had some really close games. We ended up taking third place and most of us were pretty happy about that. (I realized how competitive I am when it took me a good half hour to be ok with that...) We were dead most of the rest of the weekend but we still were able to enjoy some good food, a few hours at the pool, a couple world cup games, and just hanging out together!

Um that sounds like fun!! Except YEAH.. it was SO hot down there... Ridiculous!
We had so much fun! Thanks for letting us stay at your condo. And I think I saw even more of your competitive side when a certain someone was trying to convince you that you didn't know the rules. I like to pretend that your awesome D was on her, and she walked away crying. Go Chels!
Im really curious about this competitive side of you...how are your knees? And get online cuz I have a proposition for you.
Glad you had fun and congrats on taking 3rd! I can't imagine playing frisbee in St. George...in the summer. Well, I guess I can't imagine myself playing frisbee period, but especially in the heat! :)
