Halfway there!

I am now 20 weeks and cannot believe it.  I cannot believe that this pregnancy is already halfway done.  In some ways that makes me sad, because I don't want this to be over.  So far I love being pregnant.  I love knowing that there is a little baby inside of me, growing and just hanging out.  Obviously I am excited as can be to actually meet this little guy, and be his mama, but for now I am loving having him inside of me.

Belly:  Until just a couple of weeks ago it felt like I was just getting thicker and thicker rather than really having a belly popping out.  That has changed recently and there is definitely a belly there now!  It feels like it is always growing.  Some mornings I wake up and think that it grew overnight.  So far I haven't gotten any maternity clothes and am just wearing looser regular clothes.

Here I am, 20 weeks along.

And the progression:

Smells:  I have always been sensitive to smells and now that sensitivity is just heightened.  I can smell everything now although it is mostly smells that already were gross to me that I hate now--like cigarettes, B.O., onions and garlic...and hamburger.

Foods:  There is nothing too crazy here.  If I hated foods before I was pregnant, I still hate them, and same goes for what I liked.  But I have been especially loving Thai food lately.  I could eat at Mekong and Sawadee every.single.day.  Other than that there have been moments where I really wanted Olive Garden salad or a delicious steak.  Oh, and Paradise cookies.

For the most part I have been feeling great.  There are minor aches and pains but nothing unbearable.  I wake up several times a night with really bad charlie horses, which I had no clue happened when you're pregnant!

I still have not felt this little guy move, so I am hoping that will happen soon.  We go in for our 20 week ultrasound with our doctor on Monday and are excited for that.

I am still just so grateful to be pregnant and for this little baby growing inside of me. So fun!

Oh the MEAT smell!! Any luck getting rid of it? You look so cute... I love that you've finally got a little belly going! Can't wait for you to feel the little guy-hands down the best thing about being pregnant. It never gets less amazing to feel it! I think thats one of the only things I'm sad about now that we're done having babies.

Miss you! Wish I was closer!

You look great and are so tiny! I feel like my baby already weighs 8 pounds or something. I have my 20 week ultrasound on Monday too. So excited to see more pictures of my little guy and I'm sure you are too!

You look absolutely darling pregnant! I love reading how much you love your pregnancy! Breath of fresh air! I get charlie horses in my legs in the night too, although I'm not pregnant, I don't know why I get them. They hurt SO bad! My husband always thinks I'm crazy when I get them in the middle of the night!

Oh, Chelsea... When you told me that you are "definitely showing" these days, I was expecting to see quite the tummy on you. But you're so tiny! You look really cute.

I'm glad that you're enjoying pregnancy...but I'm so sorry about the charlie horses. You get them several times a night? Yikes! That sounds awful. I got them a handful of times with Sophie but have only had them once this pregnancy...

Excited to see you guys on Monday.

You are tiny and SO cute! I am excited for you to feel him move, that really is the best feeling! Even after my little ones are born and I can actually hold them, I still miss that feeling of them moving around in my belly :) Those charlie horses are not fun! I got them a lot with my first pregnancy too. It's fun to hear about your pregnancy.

ps: Are you guys living in Utah? We are moving back there this May. If you do live there ... we should get together and go to lunch or something :)

I love that you are so positive and loving it-i swear all the women I know liked to complain about pregnancy. Hows the b&bw thing helping your meaty closet?

You look so cute! Brings back many fond (and other not so fond) memories. There is nothing like feeling them move inside you.

Also, those elephants you sewed are SO cute!

oh look at your cute little prego self!! LOVE IT! Glad everything is going super for ya. When you feel him move in there it is almost as exciting as finding out you are pregnant. It makes it real! And then... when he gets bigger it gets a little creepy seeing elbows and feet sliding across you belly
