It's hard for me to believe little Isla Sue is two weeks old. These two weeks have been so much fun and I have been loving every minute of it. I feel so much less stressed this second time around. I know I kept Asher alive for 3 whole years and I feel so much more confident and less worried about every little detail. I love, love, love, the newborn stage and am just trying to soak it up as much as possible. I really wish she could just stay this tiny forever. There is something so amazing and wonderful about having this tiny little baby in our home.
Isla is a really sweet baby. She likes to be held, but she is also really content and happy lying on a blanket or in her little chair. She rarely cries, and when she does it is pretty quiet. She eats about every three hours, and goes 3-4 hours at night. She is a little sweetheart and we are completely smitten by her.
And there is something so, so reassuring about a newborn checkup. I love hearing the pediatrician say you have a healthy baby, and good job mom.

head: 13.5 inches (15 percentile)

Isla Sue is just so darling! And yea for being less stressed this time and being able to enjoy the newborn stage more. :)
