Last week we loaded up our backpacks, grabbed our snowshoes and headed up to the Yurt with 3 other couples {Dan + Shalane, Sam + Marie-Reine, Tommy + Riley}. There was so much fresh snow and it made everything so beautiful. We didn't start hiking in until late afternoon so we enjoyed the last few minutes of our hike by moonlight.
After a steak dinner and warming up by the fire we were ready to gear up again and go out and play in the snow.
We all ended up having such a good time, just like always, and I am so glad Marcus took the time to make this happen!

we should do this sometime--do you hike in your snow clothes? Oh and I was thinking I would attempt to plan a slot canyon/narrows type hike if you two would tour guide...what do you think?

For my Bulletin board, I went to Home Depot and got a cheap styrofoam board. I thought it wouldn't work but my mom has one that she made three years ago and still works. Then I just covered it in fabric. Pretty easy!
