We were lucky enough to head down to St. George for the weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather down there. We left Thursday after work and were able to relax, hang out at the pool, do a little shopping, long boarding, rollerblading and just enjoy some quality family time with the Webbs.
Just like every trip to St. George, we hiked the short and scary hike, or the crack in the wall. Remember last year Marcus couldn't fit through, no matter how hard he tried? Well he is proud to announce that he made it through this year. He had to do quite a bit of shimmying up the wall to get through, but he did it.
Saturday night at about 10:00 we were hanging out at the condo and getting a little sleepy from all of the fun in the sun that day when Marie said that she really wanted to go to Pah Tempe, some natural hot springs in Hurricane. We weren't sure because it was late and we were tired--but we all finally decided to go. You reserve the whole place at a time, so we were up there in the dark, with only a sliver of a moon, all by ourselves. It was pretty cool.
There were lots of different pools that you could go in, each a little different temperature. Some went all the way into caves which were super creepy in the dark. There was also a River below that you could play in but the water was way too freezing for me! I only lasted out there for a few seconds and that was with the warm pool water falling down onto me from above.
Yay for St. George and for quick, sunny getaway weekends.

Okay, your swimsuit is SO CUTE! And how in the world do you not freak out in those tiny canyons? I think that would be the death of me.
I say YAY for St. George too! It's a good thing utah has a warm place to retreat to that's not too far away. Looks like a blast and the hot springs look awesome!
It looks like so much fun! We'll have to go down sometime and have you show us where all these cool places are :)
I was looking @ your blog and wishing I was as cool as you (like always). I saw that cool cave and tried to google it, I am totally jealous and want to go there now. I showed it to my brother in law who was sitting here and he said "that cave looks good but that guy is making a creepy face".... to which I looked and he is right, that is an intense face...
Sounds like such a fun trip! Glad you were able to get away for a bit.
