While in St. George, we headed out to get a blu-ray. The guys had just hooked up a new TV and blu-ray player and wanted to be able to watch something and get all kinds of excited about how clear the picture was. We weren't sure where a video rental store was, so with the help of the iphone, we found the closest one. Rent A Video. The majority of the videos in there were on VHS, and they only had 2 blu-ray discs in the entire store. The sweet lady and her daughter felt bad and so did we when we left empty handed.
We got a blu-ray at Hollywood Video. They are going out of business. But Rent A Video is still going strong.

I love stores with basic names like that. My parents owned a printing company called "The Printing Company" Out of curiosity what were the two blu-ray discs they had?
They had Ninja Assassin and 500 Days of Summer.
How funny! I can't believe how many movie stores are going out of busniess now. Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, and 3-D Video are all out of busness in Centerville/Bountiful. Where are we supposed to go??
Ha ha vhs? I haven't been to a video rental place for a while, but I didn't even know getting a vhs was even possible!!!
That's funny. There is this video rental place by my parent's house that still uses index cards for keeping track of videos and rentals. NO COMPUTERS there! We are always shocked that they are still in business! It's crazy.
P.s. Thanks for the compliment on my blog. That was nice of you. It is way harder to balance marathon training when working, but I get to stay home with Boston, so I'm lucky. And the half isn't going to be easy. That will be my last hard run, but it just seems easy compared to the race I just did. Halfs are perfect for staying in shape and having a good goal!! Full marathons are pretty hard on your body! I don't know why I keep doing them. I keep telling myself to stick with halfs, and so does everyone else in my family!
