The Nursery

So the nursery is finally finished.  With the exception of a few empty frames that will hold the little baby's newborn photos and a place on a shelf for a darling embroidery my mom is making, we are there.

This nursery has seriously been a labor of love from so many people.  I have had so many people help and contribute.  It really came together pretty much just how I wanted it to and Marcus and I already find ourselves just sitting in there hanging out.

So here it is, an overload of pictures.

Some of the details:

I absolutely love the way the mobile I made turned out.  My little brother made the wooden part for me and finished it just before he left on his mission.

Tierra made me this incredible quilt and the matching pillow that I absolutely love.  The colors are perfect and it is exactly what I would have picked out if she hadn't surprised me.  I am so lucky to have such a talented, generous sister!

My homemade pelmet box and cute print from Etsy.

We painted this cheap little spice rack from Ikea to make this cute mini bookshelf.

Our favorite little jellycat animals.

I really, really, really wanted this hamper for a long time before we ever got pregnant.  I had told Marcus it would be absolutely perfect for a nursery someday.  Well, of course he remembered, and he surprised me with it on Valentine's Day.

My homemade picture frame, the perfect little wooden car that we found at Pike's Place in Seattle and some more shelves from Ikea.

The giraffe vinyl was a custom order from this Etsy seller and the changing pad cover was also from Etsy.

Now all we need is our sweet little baby!  We seriously can't wait for him to get here.

Okay, I MUST know where that ADORABLE hamper is from. I am in LOVE with it! Also, I cannot believe you made that adorable mobile. I am so jealous. I love it. I will seriously pay you to make me one. Mike could do the wood part. Or maybe you could at least give me tips on how to make one although I don't think I could make it that cute. It is SOOO cute. Looking at your nursery makes me really want this bedding set (http://www.babysupermall.com/main/products/kli/kliz23bed4.html). My mom and Mike both hate it--they think it's too much and too boring (how can it be both?) but I think I love it. I love the colors.

Love love love this! I seriously could not wait for this post! I checked it 3 times tonight, even though you said you probably wouldn't even do it till tomorrow! It turned out so well--every little bit. I can't wait for little baby Webb to come occupy it. Love.
