I never understood why women always cut their hair after they had babies. I loved my long hair and I swore I wouldn't be like everyone else and cut mine too...
Then I had a baby. All of the sudden I felt like I got it-it was just always in the way! Smothering the poor little baby while nursing, sticking to me as I got sweaty and frazzled from a crying baby in public, constantly being pulled by the little guy, and finally just being put in a pony tail most days.
But I figured I would regret it if I cut it and so I kept it long. Then it all started falling out, and my once thick, thick hair felt thin and lifeless. And almost nine months after having my little baby I just knew I needed a change. Because my hair had just changed and it just isn't the same hair I had before I had a baby. (Also helping in the convincing process was when I saw Conda on Biggest Loser, and even though I don't like her I loved her haircut.) So...that was the long explanation to say that I now get it. And I cut it.

Chel! I LOVE it! You could rock any hair, though. Weird to see you without long hair, but based on your description of life w/ a baby and long hair I think you made a good decision :)
So cuuuuuuuute! I love it! You totally rock it. And I laughed when I read your Conda comment because I thought the same thing when I saw her hair!
I love it Chel! You always have beautiful hair :) It makes me want to cut my hair before our baby is even born!
LOVE it! It suits you :)
I love your new haircut & color. You are definitely rocking it!
Ok so you didn't say whether or not you are loving it-- I hope you are!!! It was fun to be able to do a fresh style and of course was fun hanging with you guys!
It is always so nice to have a change every once in awhile. And it is way hard to keep long hair with a little baby, especially in the summer. and p.s. I totally agree, i'm not a big Conda fan, but couldn't believe how cute her hair looked :)
As I was reading this I was expecting to scroll down and see your hair really, really short -- like boy short! ha! Your hair always looks cute!
SUPER cute!
very cute! i had the exact same thought after i saw the make-over biggest loser from this season. however, i have not followed through just yet.
i really like it! you always look so cute, chel!
You decided to cut it! Love it! It was fun to see you at church. Your little man Asher is so much cutter in person (I mean he's cute on this blog, don't get me wrong, but I loooved seeing him in real life!)
I love your new hair Chel! I cut mine for all the very same reasons you listed. It's true--hair is just not the same post baby. You look sooo cute!
Looks so cute! I hope you like it - I know you were always apprehensive about it...but I agree, it's just easier and more practical with little ones around.
